Day Summary
Day 1 – Bangalore – Mysore
- On arrival in Bangalore, you will be picked up and transferred to Mysore.
- En-route, you will visit some of the magnificent monuments of Srirangapatna. Check in at the hotel in Mysore and rest for a while. Then proceed for a sightseeing tour of Mysore covering the Chamundi Hills, Big Bull, Maharaja’s Palace, Brindavan Gardens (a beautiful garden exhibiting vast variety of colourful flowers), Jaganmohan Palace (an architectural marvel that belongs to the royal family) and St. Philomena’s Cathedral. Chamundi Hills is an iconic landmark of Mysore that stands at an elevation of 3,300 feet and houses a famous temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundi.
- On your way up the hill, you can visit the Bull Temple as well. Maharaja’s Palace or the Mysore Palace is a prominent attraction of the city that belongs to the Wodeyar rulers and a must-visit when in Mysore.
- Finally, return to your hotel for overnight stay. ( If any of the sightseeing is not completed in day 1, we can do it on day 2 and then proceed to Ooty).
Day 2 – Mysore – Ooty
- Have a good breakfast and start your journey to the beautiful hill station of Ooty.
- Check in at the hotel and later, you can opt to go on a ride on the Ooty toy train as well.
- Overnight at Ooty.
Day 3 – Ooty
- After breakfast, visit places of interest like the Government Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, Doddabetta Peak (highest mountain in the Nilgiri Mountains) and Thread Garden. Enjoy the serenity around the gorgeous lakes of Ooty such as the Ooty Lake, Upper Bhavani Lake, Emerald Lake, Pykara Lake and Avalanche Lake. Stroll around the Government Botanical Garden and Rose Garden and admire unique varieties of roses and plants.
- Then stay overnight in Ooty.
Day 4 – Ooty – Coonoor - Ooty
- After a good breakfast,proceed for day excursion to Coonoor.
- In Coonoor, you will get to visit the Dolphin’s Nose (5,075 ft), Highfield Tea Factory, Lamb’s Rock (5,000 ft. above sea level) and Sim`s Park (a beautiful botanical park at 1,780 m above sea level).
- Finally, return to your hotel in Ooty for the night.
Day 5 – Ooty – Bangalore Departure
- Have breakfast and be dropped off in Bangalore airport to board your return flight
- Hotel accommodations at any of the above mentioned or similar hotels on a breakfast & Dinner basis.
- Non Ac Rooms will be providedIn Hill stations during all season.
