1. Who we are

K2 Journeys (“we”, “us”) is a travel agency based in Pune, India, offering custom itineraries, corporate and MICE travel, hotel bookings and visa assistance to travellers across India and the GCC (United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council states).

2. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

• Enquiry details. When you submit a contact, visa, hotel, MICE or chatbot enquiry, we collect your name, phone number, email address and the trip details you provide (destination, travel dates, group size, message).
• Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email and (via the dashboard) profile details you choose to add — address, passport details, travel preferences, dietary and health notes, emergency contact, travel companions and loyalty numbers — plus any documents you upload.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotes or itineraries.
• To process visa assistance, hotel and MICE bookings you request.
• To manage your account, saved trips and uploaded travel documents.
• To send booking confirmations and updates by email or WhatsApp.

4. Where your data is stored

Enquiry and account data is stored using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database and Cloud Storage), which acts as our data processor. Enquiry emails are sent through Gmail. Access to your account data is restricted to you; K2 Journeys staff can view enquiry and account records only through an access-controlled admin system for the purpose of responding to you.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above (Google Firebase, our email and, where used, WhatsApp messaging provider) to the extent needed to operate the site, with visa-processing embassies or partners you ask us to liaise with on your behalf, or where required by law.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s local storage to remember favourites and draft profile edits so they keep working while you are signed out, and to keep you signed in between visits if you choose “Keep me signed in”. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

You can review or update your account profile at any time from your dashboard. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, contact us using the details below and we will act on your request within a reasonable time, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.

8. Applicable law

Because we serve clients across India and the GCC, this policy is intended to align with applicable data-protection regulations in both India and Gulf Cooperation Council states (including the UAE and Saudi Arabia), in addition to Indian law.

9. Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will reflect the latest revision.
